Robbin Herring

Robbin is the founder and managing director of Boxberg Capital, where he leads Boxberg Capital’s investment activities.

Prior to founding Boxberg Capital, Robbin held senior positions at Apollo Global Real Estate, CPI Capital Partners where he served as Head of Germany and later European Chief Investment Officer, CSFB/DLJ Capital Partners and Deutsche Bank’s real estate private equity team. He started his real estate career at JLL Germany.

Robbin earned a BSc Economics (First Class Honours) and a MSc in Economics from the London School of Economics and a PhD in Economics from the European University Institute. More recently, he has been finalising an MSc in Data Science, with a focus on Big Data, Machine Learning and AI.

Since 2016, he has also been a Visiting Lecturer and Course Leader for an elective in Real Estate Investment, Finance and PE at Imperial College London.

Robbin is fluent in English and German and has a working knowledge of Italian, Spanish and French.

Claudia Herring-Roehn

Claudia is co-founder and managing director of Boxberg Capital, where she has been leading the successful asset financing and asset management execution of the firm’s engagements. She is leveraging over two decades of expertise in finance, real estate, and technology.

Claudia’s experience prior to Boxberg Capital includes the successful development of a healthcare asset financing business for a German bank and before this, being a key member of a fintech startup which focused on creating a loan auction platform for municipalities.

Claudia holds a BSc in Economics and Mathematics from the Open University and an MBA from Imperial College London. She also completed a banking apprenticeship and earned a business degree from Frankfurt School of Finance. To stay at the forefront of industry development, she has been pursuing an MSc in Data Science at Birkbeck, University of London, with a focus on Deep Learning/AI, Big Data Analytics and NLP.

Claudia is fluent in German and English.
